Apply for Certification

How It Works

In order for consumers to consistently experience the best financial education workshop possible, we require all YourMoneyCounts® curriculum trainers to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the YourMoneyCounts workshop content, and to be comfortable as a trainer.

The following application should be completed on behalf of the organization for which you currently or would like to conduct financial literacy workshops.


The application process should take about 15 minutes and you will need to supply:
  • Contact information and email address
  • Your experience with financial literacy training
If you're the first person to apply for your Organization, you will also need:
  • Organization's contact information (primary contact, address, phone number)
  • Organization's 501(c)(3) status and Employer Identification Number (XX-XXXXXXX)


After your application is approved, you will be sent a password to access the Educators Portal for certification which requires you to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the program's content.

Once certified, you will have access to the full Educators Portal and its workshop materials which includes: slide presentations; speaker notes; activity sheets and worksheets, as well as any other supplemental materials for Banking, Credit History, Using Credit, Managing Your Money, Managing Your Mortgage, Identity Theft, and Homeownership modules.
