As one of the world's leading financial services companies, HSBC is a committed advocate of financial education. Our goal is to help consumers acquire an understanding of financial concepts, as well as the tools necessary to make sound financial decisions. Our YourMoneyCounts® program includes financial education training materials for those nonprofit organizations who share our mission to improve financial literacy in our communities.
The YourMoneyCounts® program includes a workshop component that provides a comprehensive, yet accessible, financial education program which community-based organizations can and have helped deliver. You have an exciting opportunity to become a certified trainer of our financial education curriculum!
The workshop curriculum helps those who want to broaden their knowledge about money and credit management, as well as homeownership. Topics include developing and living within a budget, understanding how to use financial institutions, the basics of using credit and understanding a credit report, and strategies for building wealth and owning a home. Workshop attendees are encouraged to take control of their financial situations and are provided tools to help them build better futures.
The YourMoneyCounts® curriculum provides flexibility to meet the specific needs of the audience because it is designed in modules that can be presented singly or as part of a series of topics. The materials also integrate our financial education website, YourMoneyCounts.com, to provide a way for consumers to access additional educational materials and tools easily.
