Credit History module
The goals of the Credit History module are to:
- Explain credit reports, credit scores, and how these are used by lenders, insurers, landlords, and others
- Outline how to build a strong credit profile, including the components that make up one’s FICO® score
- Provide an introduction to identity theft, and how it can negatively impact credit reports and scores
- Introduce the FACT Act, mandating free credit reports each year
